It's reported that in Pandaman, Jerry Yan was invited to make guest appearances. People always say, "King can't stand another King". According to source, at the filming sites, Jerry and Jay had minimal interaction. Two nights ago, Jay honestly said, "Jerry has more interactions with Liu Geng Hong in private. For reserved people like us, we all need counceling from someone else." Through his agent, Fenny, Yan Cheng Xu replied, "We tell jokes to each other in private. It's not like nothing to say."
Both Jay and Jerry are JVR's artistes. This time, Jay has invited numerous artistes for guest appearances. Among all, the most attention seeking one is Yan Cheng Xu who is also a Capricorn. This time, for Yan Cheng Xu's making time for Pandaman during his album promotion period, Jay continuously praises Jerry for being loyal whenever he mentions this to others. Besides, even Jay likes show his handsomeness in front of the camera, this time, he doesn't mind that someone looks more handsome than him. After watching the preview, staff commented that Jerry looked very charming in it. Both of them have low profiled look like wearing a beanie in the drama.
According to source, in the 2- to 3-day of filming, unless there's a need for work, there's minial interactions between them in private. Two days ago, at the Pandaman filming site, Jay said, "In private, he has more interactions with Liu Geng Hong." As Jerry is a perfectionist, he once mentioned that he might hit the table when he couldn't perform at the level he wanted. For this, Jay smiled, "No! He performed very well." When promoting his good friends, such as Nan Quan Mama's Yu Hao and Dan Tou, and his high school friend, Huang Huai Chen, Jay always gives his most. They all played main roles in Pandaman. Other than inviting big casters to join the cast, he also specially composed the theme song for each good friend. He happily said, "All the cast will sing in the soundtrack."

It's reported some BTS stories about DWL's filming. Other than Jerry's providing massage, one time when Jerry's supposed to say, "Miss Yang was my niece and nephew's nanny", but he made a mistake and said, "Ms. Yang was my niece" instead. It made Ella almost have a breakdown and said, "When did I become your niece? Oh! Are you nuts?" Then the whole crowd laughed, so did Jerry.
Yan Cheng Xu likes to tell cold jokes, even when he is saying the lines. In one scene, when Qi Ke Zhong's (played by Michael Zhang) mother told XYP about Yang Guo's shortcomings, XYP wanted to leave immediately, so he could find Yang Guo. When doing trial, he changed his lines "I have some very very important matters. I need to find that Ms. Yang immediately." to "I really have to go...to the restroom. Qi Mama, please let me go, ok?” All the people didn't realize that he was telling a cold joke until several seconds later. Even his assistant thought that he really needed to use the restroom and planned to walk him to the restroom. For the cold responses, Yan Cheng Xu asked, "Isn't it funny? It is very funny.”
Even when he bought everyone beverages, he liked to tell cold jokes. He once told a crew member, "Sorry. I didn't buy any for you." That member played along with him, pretended to be sad, and said, "Oh really? Then I will cry to death. I want to go back to TW!" The ones on the side couldn't stand it any more and said, "Give me a break. With a joke this cold, how could you play along?!”

Is Ella Jerry Yan’s Love Interest? Artiste Manager’s Response, “Not Possible!”

During [Down With Love]’s press conference in Hangzhou, Jerry revealed that he wishes to tour the scenic Xi Hu with his loved one. Most surprisingly, during the post-press conference interview with one of the magazines, he actually mentioned Ella to be the one, he wishes to tour Xi Hu with, and wondered if Ella would be willing to?
In the past, Jerry has not done a lot of drama promotions in China. Therefore many Chinese reporters were less familiar with him. Thus, upon hearing his words and seeing how Ella and him have interacted seamlessly during the press conference, and even hug each other during photo-taking, the reporters were unable to tell the truth and wondered if Jerry was making a confession. Or was this a publicity gimmick for the drama? Or simply just a harmless joke?
Yesterday, Jerry’s artiste manager Fenny clarified she was running about during the press conference and had no impression of it when Jerry mentioned it. “Even if he did say so, he must be joking as it is not possible (for romance) between both of them.”
Fenny added further, Jerry is a passive person and could easily be influenced by the atmosphere around him to do things he might not usually do so. When he was filming [DWL], it was obviously he was influenced by the bubbly Ella. As to their hugs, Fenny said, “This definitely shows there is nothing (romance) between them. If there is really any (romance), how could they share such intimate gestures openly?” In addition, the drama’s producer Ke Yi Qun also shared, Jerry and Ella’s interaction at the filming sites is very good. But based on her observation, they are really just friends, with no romance brewing.
