Long Time No See

(thanks Zi Lin Xu Xu for the snapcap)
Long Time No See
Haven't taken pictures like this in the streets of Japan for a long time. This time, due to the excellent cooperation and understanding among the staff, and nice weather that brought out high spirit, my mood throughout the shooting was relaxing and pleasant. The quality of the pictures taken was also very good. When taking pictures, we accidentially found this adorable Beetle. The Beetle was specially transformed by the restaurant (owner) for delivery! The owner of the restaurant is really modish! As the Beetle had attracted a lot of people's attention, so we specially requested the owner's permission to allow us to use it in the photos. This time, we took pictures in the streets of Tokyo. Besides, we also encountered other interesting people, incidents, and things, and they left great impression on me. That's it for now!!(Ha)

Translated News June 22
June 22, 2007
Liberty Times reported that Yan Cheng Xu, "who is claimed to be the most desirable but also the most difficult to swallow in TW" (kkla: I think 'swallow' means handle), has changed about 10 agents since SJ started, is rumored to work with an agent under Johnny's, in order to explore the Japanese market. It was also reported that "actually, Yan Cheng Xu's No. 1 seat among idols in the TW and Mainland China markets is stable, and the market he really likes to develop and to get a try is Japan. Lastly, "Yan Cheng Xu's current agent, Mao Liang, was not willing to confirm the rumor yesterday, and he was only willing to admit that there is a foreign invester. He also said, 'If there is really a plan, should there be no press conference?'"
Well, before there is any confirmed news, let's look at this nice photo first

Leak takes wind out of tourism bureau surprise
OUT: The bureau had hoped to keep the name of its new spokesperson for Southeast Asia secret until today, but a leak ended the suspense. And the winner is ...
By Shelley Shan
STAFF REPORTER
Thursday, 21 June 2007, Page 2
"It is going to be a male entertainer and a female singer. I promise it will be a huge surprise!"
- Janice Lai, Tourism Bureau director-general
When Tourism Bureau Director-General Janice Lai was asked two weeks ago who would replace pop diva Chang Huei-mei, or A-mei, as the new spokesperson to help draw tourists from Southeast Asia, Lai chose to remain silent.
"Allow me to keep it a secret for now," she told reporters at the time. "Let me just say that it is going to be a male entertainer and a female singer. I promise it will be a huge surprise!"
But what was meant to be a surprise turned into an unexpected cat-out-of-bag incident. Lai was upset yesterday to find out that local media had unveiled the "secret" before she did.
A report in the Chinese-language Apple Daily yesterday said that Jolin Tsai, who won the Golden Melody Award for best female Mandarin pop singer last week, has been selected to be the bureau's new tourism spokesperson in Southeast Asia.
The report also mentioned that Tsai and film director Wu Nien-jen, another new spokesperson, would participate in promotional events and activities organized by the Tourism Bureau.
It also said that the bureau would pay Tsai NT$8 million (US$242,400) per year for the deal.
The bureau's contract with A-mei ended this year. During the past three years, the diva participated in tourism-related promotional events in Southeast Asia, from meeting with fans to leading them on an around-the-nation tour.
The momentum A-mei generated encouraged the Tourism Bureau to consider choosing another popular singer to be the new spokesperson this year.
Lai ordered her staff yesterday to investigate the leak and find out why the news was released to the media before the scheduled date, which was today.
The incident was reminiscent of the Golden Melody Awards' problems, as both events have had their lists of winners leaked to the media before the organizer could make an official announcement.
To increase tourism each year, the bureau has recruited popular idols as part of tourism promotion package. Last week, it announced that the boy-band F4 had become the bureau's emissaries in Japan and South Korea.

Video Buzz: F4 (JVKV) in Taiwan Tourism Ad
Taiwan Tourism Bureau premiered a TV commercial yesterday featuring the popular Taiwan boy band F4 (JVKV), scheduled to be broadcasted in Japan and Korea starting next month. The 30-second TV spot is part of the bureau's aggressive marketing campaign to increase the number of Japanese and Korean tourists visiting Taiwan each year.
The story begins with a Japanese tourist receiving a letter from Taiwan, then shifts to four famous local scenic spots, which are visited by the F4 members. Jerry Yan appears in an exhibition room at the National Palace Museum, looking at Chinese calligraphy and then becoming one of the characters in an ancient painting. Vanness Wu is first seen playing with a lantern in Pingsi, Taipei County. Two seconds later, Taipei 101 is seen, amid exploding fireworks. Ken Chu, for his part, is seen standing on the side of the Love River in Kaohsiung, looking dreamily at the metropolitan area at night. Meanwhile, Vic Chou is seen playing with a Taiwanese puppet, with the traditional art center in Ilan County in the background.
The bureau's director general Janice Lai said yesterday that the commercial will appear on 14 TV stations in Japan and three in Korea. Lai said that a TV series featuring F4 will also begin shooting next month. Based on the contract, the series will be broadcasted by the end of this year. Lai also confirmed that Jerry Yan (言承旭) will not be in the TV series due to prior obligations. While Ken Chu (朱孝天) and Vic Chou (周渝民) are guaranteed to be in the series, Lai said the bureau was working to get Vanness Wu (吳建豪) on board.
To Lai, the commercial was a gratifying experience. "Many Japanese tourists are impressed by the snacks at the night markets, the fortune-tellers or the hsiao long bao [little steamed buns]," she said." What we are trying to create is a fresher image. Through the charm of these four people, we hope to give our guests a better understanding of Taiwan."
Besides the TV networks, the commercial will also feature on flights from Japan and Korea before they land in Taiwan. The bureau is hoping to increase the number of Japanese tourists to 1.23 million and that of Koreans to 210,000 annually.

Taiwan's idol card F4 strikes again to international tourists Waves
their latest promotional ad to Japanese and Korean fans
Source: Taiwan.net
http://www.taiwan.net.tw/lan/Cht/movie/index_new.asp?sel=11
If the phrase "Wish To See You in Taiwan" would be spoken by
ordinary people, perhaps it would not attract no one. However, if it
would come from F4, it would be different, and with the added
invitation gestures, it would send out screams from Taiwanese fans,
but crazy Japanese and Korean fans would scream even louder.
Considering F4's idol charms, they had become the Taiwan's Tourism
spokesmen for Northeast Asia. The Ministry of Communication' s
Tourism Bureau strike out for idol endorsers and asked F4 to shoot
the promotional TV ad which will be shown in Japan and Korea on
summer, which is estimated to attract more people to come for a
Taiwan tour.
The Ministry of Communications' Tourism Bureau invited F4 to shoot
for the tourism promotional TV ad "Wish To See You In Taiwan" to be
launched today (6/13). The short 30-second clip will present the
National Palace Museum, Kaohsiung's Love River, Yilan's National
Center for Traditional Arts as well as Taipei 101 as backgrounds. To
match up F4's charms, calligraphy sketches, sky lights, hand puppets
and 101 fireworks was used in the concept. Tourism Bureau chief Lai
Se Zhen said that previously, Taiwan offered no packages in the
night market, fortune telling, small basket wraps as well as
colorful finger painting and many more. However, this year, F4's
overall image frame designs will not only promote them but will
carry out a livelier and more refined tour packages. This year's
Japanese tourists influx is hoped to exceed last year's 1.16 million
people to reach 1.23 million tourists while Korea's last year
figures of 190,000 tourists to increase to 210,000.
Aside from the promotional advertisement, the Toursim Bureau will
begin shooting for it's idol drama on the third week of July, that
is expected to be shown in Japan, Korea and other countries in
December.Initial plan is for Zaizai and Ken to act in the drama
while on October, F4 will hold another Fan's Meeting that is hoped
to attract more than 6,000 fans to come to Taiwan. At present, this
30-second TV ad will be shown in 14 Japanese and 13 Korean TV
channels on July and August, and flight bookings will be monitored.
Taiwanese fans need not be disappointed. At the Taiwan Tourism
Bureau website, fans can watch F4 presenting their unmatched charms.

Jerry in Japan! Updates - June 11
A flight attendant wrote in her blog that Jerry was on her flight from Tokyo to TW. Jerry's seat was in the PL section. Throughout the whole time, Jerry tried to be very low profiled that he either wore a mask, or lowered his head playing video games and reading magazines. She and the Japanese crew wanted to take a picture with Jerry very badly, but they didn't dare to ask their superior.
A few other blog owners wrote that they met Jerry either at the airport or beer/wine-skewer restaurant in Japan. Envying...

size of The Hospital's picture on the billboard: "2-people tall and 3-people wide" (based on a person's height)
According to fans, TH is still under examination by the media bureau kind of government agency in Mainland China. Hope that it will be broadcasted in Mainland China soon.
According to Skwok in HK, once when she had dinner with a famous physican, the physician initiated a topic about The Hospital. We all know that most doctors don't have time for tv dramas, but it appears that TH has gained the attention from a lot of professionals and relatively highly educated, non-fan audiences. According to another fan, TH's dvd is selling wonderfully in HK that a lot of people can't wait for HKTVB's broadcast (only 1 or 2 episode(s) per week) that they prefer to just rent or to purchase the dvd set, which is a good decision, as HKTVB has edited out almost 40% of the original content.

According to Kamping, some moderators of www.yanchengxu.net have sent some copies of Jerry's single You Are My Only Persistence to HK's different DJs and yesterday Kamping heard the song on HK's radio channel for the first time. It appears that SonyBMG didn't just provide zero promotion, it didn't even send a copy to any radio channels.

"Regarding the singer Yan Cheng Xu, his performance is much better than expected. He is able to express the emotions in the song and his voice is very pleasant. Compared to his last solo album, his performance is much more satisfactory!"

STRICLY NO REPOSTING, THANK YOU.
*i am still looking for my pinyin lyrics, grrrr!
Scene: Dr Su "searching for," Guan Xin.
When was the previous happiness?
You, you're gone and my plan is messed up
The smiles on my face has now frozen
That's how many times i started again to talk about you
Drive, Driving on your own is most lonely
But don't, Don't turn on the raido for songs
Because some of the songs can really saddened you
Very easily I started to think of you again
If I was ill on that day and never had that feeling
We would never have met each other
Maybe i can smile now and happily leaving
On someone that's a lot better than you
Sometimes love is like driving a car
Risky but Happy
Stop when the red light is on
Its wrong to insist
and we both knew that
The difference is who is first to get off the car
Pain, no matter how painful, the wound can eventually heal
Hurt, no matter how hurtful will get over it
Alone in the evening can be good too,
Except have less a person to chat to.
The Hospital, Ending Theme Song
The wind chime at the window has not been quiet
Wind has its flattering and disgusting fate
I listened carefully to the sound of how you've passed by in my memory
Feeling so clear-minded as i embark on my lonely journey
I draw closer to the border of my past
Some Lovers are merely a pssed by scenery
I was too young before
but my feeling was genuine
The love i gave was just too impetous
Didnot understand love would only blossom once like the flower
I was too young before
My tears were innocent and transparent
Your Determination, Is still ... my Believe
Up until now
The letter you said you love me
I have always kept it with me
Folded with my memory
I was too young before
Drifted away from this world
That's my own memory
Always has your shadow by me

Jerry In Japan!
credits to yami@nbbbs.com
just a short summary. sisters please feel free to add
1. Jerry went to Japan to shoot for new promotion photos (no idea what these are for). His management company shelled out 6million Yen for this.
2. He was wildly chased by fans in Japan and because he is very low-profile, he had to run and hide.
3. According to Liberty Times, he will have a new management company. A foreign investor set up a new management company for him, but he still won't reveal the details. As to Dramadream which he established prior to this, it will solely do drama production in the future and no longer handle artist management.
4. United Daily news said he cut 20 cm of hair Jerry loves his hair like his life. After filming TH he hasn't cut his hair. This time, his staff continuously persuaded him to have a haircut. Just 2 days before leaving for Japan, he finally agreed and went to a salon.
5. To prevent chaos, he kept on changing his return flight to TW. He secretly got back the other day.
Photos:
credits to kkla@nbbbs.com
Amazing! Today's news was released in the newspapers from all three locations, TW, HK, and Mainland China. In the news, it was mentioned that even primary school students and the elderly group with silver hair recognized Jerry in the street, and called him 'Jerry'. This time, the image designer prepared 8 boxes of clothes and accessories, and over 20 different looks were being photographed. The image designer was the same one who designed F4's looks during their last press conferences in Japan and Korea.

The Philosophies that exist within {The Hospital} ~ i Weekly 19th April 2007

The Philosophies that exist within {The Hospital}
Text : Yang Li Ling
Seeing {The Hospital} reflects humanity, how my heart aches on occasion. Each sentence of the dialogue easily points out the truths in Reality.
As seen, Life is most definitely like a show.
Life
I have lived here for almost 2 years and yet I don’t know any neighbours. I work every single day and I just keep on working. . . . . . A person like me who had spent most of my life studying, I have missed on spending time with my family. I don’t even have the energy to date. I don’t even know how to date someone. . . . . .~ Su Yi Hua cried his eyes out when he was disappointed in love.
Where there is gain, there will be loss. There is no point complaining, what it boils down to is one’s personal choice.
Every one of us has to bear the burden of the mistakes we’ve made. We need to learn to live with our most unsightly-self. Because there are not reruns in Life and we are adults. ~ Qiu Qing Cheng pulls himself up from his mistakes and carries on.
You need courage as it’s difficult to face your own evils.
Tang : I deserve it. It’s like being bitten by the dog that I’ve fed. There is no need for other’s sympathies.
Su : . . . . . .I don’t understand it. I held it tightly in my hands yet why does it suddenly cool off so quickly. . . . . .
Tang : These are the rules- mere rules. The fault is not his neither is it mine.~ Forced by circumstances, Tang Guo Tai and Qiu Cheng Qing turned from a teacher-student relationship to enemies.
Good and bad, kindness and wickedness never existed in the arena of fame and fortune.
I don’t believe that there isn’t any truth and justice in this world. It’s all because we have in our hearts given up. ~ Guan Xin still holds true to her principles.
For humans, the one that is the hardest to believe is in fact we ourselves.
As you age, you will find that Destiny has made the decision for you one after and another right before your eyes. One by one, it eats into you. What choice is there left for you? Life is just so. When you’ve reached a certain point, you can’t turn back anymore. ~ When all is gone, Zhuang Ming Zhe came to this realization.
At times when certain things happen, I asked myself, ‘I had considered all angles, did my best in where I should, I feel that there should’nt be any problems. It should all be great but it might not be so.’ With a flick of the fingers from the Heavens, it becomes different. Everything will not be the same anymore.
~ Qiu Qing Cheng fell from grace and finally saw through everything.
Can Destiny be changed? In fact, it’s actually the person making up lies to force himself to move forward.
Su : If you are right, I definitely will stand on your side and support you fully.
Qiu : Don’t you know that you are already standing on my side? When I step down, you will have the opportunity to crawl up. You can then have more power to do what you think is right.
~ Though Su Yi Hua thinks he is righteous but Qiu Qing Cheng pointed out to him how he is in fact steep in the power struggle.
All of us think we are virtuous in our own right but in the end we have to go with the flow of things.
True courage is pursuing that kind of simple happiness. . . . . .When we are doing what we think we should, Heaven is but a place where our hands can reach. If you want Happiness, you have on be undaunted in stretching your hand to do what you want to and to love the one whom you love the most. Don’t wait as it’s just that you didn’t see it for Happiness never left you.
Our lives are based on what we believe. Happiness, sadness they are all choices.
In the end, what we think is important has become not important after all.
~ Su Yi Hua’s take on Life.
Nothing which is lost would cost anyone his life. Riches is so, people are so.
Love
What everyone wants in their lives is different, it won’t be the same just because the both of you are together. ~ Her superior, Chang Yi Ru tries hard to persuade Ma Yi Fen about her illicit affair with Qiu Qing Cheng.
Love many a times cannot really withstand the trials of reality again and again.
We do not owe each other anything now. We owe each other only a simple goodbye. ~ Ma Yi Fen bade farewell to Qiu Qing Cheng at the Airport.
After having loved and hated, there is the eventual letting go when Fate is over.
Your cleverness always hurt others so much. ~ Upon knowing of Qiu Qing Cheng’s affair with Ma Yi Fen, his wife, Mei Qian’s words struck a tender spot as she wanted to safeguard her family’s Happiness.
When one is too clever, he will only remember how to love himself and forget to love others.
Humans can only head towards one direction and it is the same for every one of us. ~ Guan Xin’s objective view as a bystander of Su Yi Hua’s change of heart and refusal to face the fact.
Love will unknowingly change its direction in event of the pursuit of fame and fortune .
Don’t say that you are sorry. You will never ever know how sorry you should be. It’s too late, all too late. ~ Guan Xin’s words to the heartless Zhuang Ming Zhe.
Words are a mere softening of the guilt towards victims but they can never lessen the hurt.
In the past, I thought that as long as we loved each other then nothing is impossible but Love is not so great. It is never as great as we think it should be.
~ Guan Xin left behind these words when Su Yi Hua tried to get her back.
A Love to live and die for is in truth too inconsequential.
Su: Do you really not want to give me an explanation for your leaving?
Guan: Don’t you think what we need now is not an explanation but a wholehearted blessing?
~ For so many years, Guan Xin left without a word but eventually met up with Su Yi Hua for their final farewell.
Rather than holding onto regret, the beauty is in remembering the Love.
~ THE END ~
Where is Jerry? June 1 and 2
1st update by Yan Shui Xin (summarized by kkla):
Yan Shui Xin got another email with a 2nd picture from her Japanese friend. On June 1, Jerry was in Wakayama which is famous of hot springs. Looked like he was filming some kind of mv or promotional clip. He also got on a ship searching for whale, but heard that he didn't find any at the end. He wore a white head wrap and his hair looked a little bit shorter. White jacket with beige-gray ? tank top^^(Hoho... from the picture, Yan Shui Xin can see his chest@_@Shui Xin was drooling as she wrote...). Jerry also wore a necklace with a part in white. Jerry took a picture of holding the mast and it was amusing. Jerry was having a good mood, just like the weather.
2nd update:
On June 2, Jerry was found in Osaka. A lot of Japanese fans went to see him. When Shui Xin's friend rushed to the site right away, she couldn't see anything as there were too many people.

I was shocked... Never thought that... Really is in Japan!!!
As I can't share the picture, I can't post it here. I am sorry. Please understand
But I will try my best to tell you the details^_^
In Kyoto, Japan, he was walking alone and photos were being taken (secretly thinking: Is he taking pictures for his photo album?)
Lao Do wore green tee and blue jeans. His hair looked very smooth and he wore sunglasses.
That's about it. Really sorry that I can't share the picture this time. Please understand~~~
Let's wait for Jerry to come back with glory! ~~~ May be his photo album will 'meet' with us in August as well^^
Jerry and Wu Zun will play in "Basketball Fire"
June 1, 2006
Today, TW Apple Daily reported that Jerry and Wu Zun will play in "Basketball Fire" and both idols will compete both on the court and in front of the camera. As Wu Zun is busy filming "My Princess" and establishing his newly opened gym, Jerry uses this opportunity to study the script, to take acting classes, and to practise his basketball skills ahead of Wu. Jerry's agent, Zheng Mao Liang, didn't want to express much but only said, "It is still under discussion." Through his agent, Wu indicates, "Looking forward very much to working together."
After filming The Hospital and establishing his own company, Jerry has stayed quiet up to this point. Now, he has upgraded to be an invester/owner, and become the owner of Dreamdrama and its only artiste. At the same time, he will work with Producer Feng Jia Rui filming GTV's new drama "Basketball Fire". In addition, the most looking forward to is that the new popular idol, Wu Zun, will play the main lead with Jerry, filming the TW version of Slam Dunk (kkla: a Japanese manga and anime series written by Takehiko Inoue about basketball). At this point, the project has reached the contract-signing stage, and the both handsomes will compete in their popularity and acting skills.

Report content was similar to above, except:
The two handsome guys actually know each other, as when Wu Zun first came to TW, they met through some mutual friends, and they played ball and had dinner together occasionally.
Wu Zun's agent denied any rivalry between the two and said, "He is just a rising newcomer when Jerry has the status of Heavenly King in Asia."
